On the first day of Raya,
my not-too-friendly-neighborhood-greenie sent to me,
a picture of a stinking river.
This one is somewhere near to the Zoo Negara - that's the national zoo. And people wonder why I'm almost always grumpy. And who cares whether it rhymes...
I wonder how well our zoos are ranked internationally? Among the top 200, 300, 9000? Hmm, maybe. You'll never know, eh?
Hmm, Selangor negeri maju pun tak leh jaga longkang sendiri.
I do not understand nothing from this post, what's this about. Is it ZOO (Zoological garden), where is it, who's living there?

That zoo is not well run at all by international standards. However considering that they don't get any funds from the government (even though it's considered as a national zoo), I think it is quite well run. And besides, the government keep trying to get them to give up that piece of land so that they can develop it and make a lot of money, I think it is very well run. It's hard to believe they are still there with all the pressure to vanish and also they have virtually no visitors on a regular basis. I think the general public will even cheer if the zoo is taken down to build yet another shopping mall. Sigh.

and to dreamstate thanks for explanation, better zoo than shopping mall tho zoo's sucks too they are prisons for animals even the best ones.
